R S Thakur
Executive Director

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Business Management from XLRI. He is also a Chartered Management Accountant from CIMA, London.

R. S. Thakur joined TACO in 2008. Prior to joining TACO, Mr. Thakur worked with Tata Motors Ltd for over 35 years as Executive Director. During his tenure with Tata Motors Ltd, he was responsible for finance, business planning, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, negotiations with state governments for new projects and manufacturing engineering. He was actively involved in the management of overseas ventures of Tata Motors as well as joint ventures in India.

Ajay Tandon
President and Head Business Group III

Education: PGDM from IIM, Ahmedabad and BE — Mechanical from IIT, Madras.

Ajay Tandon joined Tata Johnson Controls Automotive on December 1, 2006. He has over 23 years of experience. Before joining TACO, Mr Tandon worked with General Motors India, Godrej GE Appliances Ltd and Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co Pvt Ltd.

Arvind Goel
President and Head, Business Group IV

Education: BE Mechanical from Regional College of Engineering, Krukshetra.

Arvind Goel joined TACO in 2008. He has 29 years of experience in managing projects, manufacturing, vendor development, materials, marketing, exports, etc, and has developed diesel engines, gear box, axle and cab for heavy and light commercial vehicles. Prior to joining TACO, Mr Goel worked for 26 years with Force Motors Ltd as President and COO of Man Force Trucks.

Amitabha Mukhopadhyay
President and Chief Financial Officer

Education: CA

Amitabha Mukhopadhyay joined TACO in August 2007. He has 17 years of experience and has worked in all facets of financial management, supply chain management and general management. Mr. Mukhopadhyay has worked closely with international consultants in turnaround and transformation exercises. His core strengths are strategic thinking, performance orientation and people management.

Prior to joining TACO, Mr Mukhopadhyay worked with Thermax as Executive Vice President, CFO and member of the Executive Council. He also headed the water and chemicals business.

Hemant Mohgaonkar
EVP, TACO Engineering.

Education: BE (mechanical) from Nagpur University; MBA from Symbiosis (SIBM) Pune and PGDGM from MSM, Netherlands

Hemant Mohgaonkar joined TACO group in 1998. He is responsible for the engineering and technology function across TACO, including engineering businesses of TACO. He has over 18 years of experience. Prior to moving to TACO Corporate, Mr Mohgaonkar worked with Knorr Bremse India ,Tata Toyo ( both TACO group companies) and Indian Seamless Metal Tubes, where he served in various capacities including heading a business unit, marketing, projects and planning.

Otmar W. Seehorsch
President - Overseas Business Unit

Education: Engineering graduate (MS)

Otmar Seehorsch joined TACO in January 2008 and has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. Before joining TACO Mr. Seehorsch worked with companies such as Porsche, ITT Automotive, Brose and MANN+HUMMEL in North America and Europe.

Shvetal Diwanji
General Manager, Corporate Communications

Education: Science Graduate from Bombay University and MBA (Marketing) from BK School of Business Management

Shvetal Diwanji joined TACO Group in 2007. He has 19 years of experience spanning corporate communications, e-commerce, advertising and marketing. Before joining TACO, Mr. Diwanji worked with Torrent Pharmaceuticals, Adani Group, Hitachi Home & Life Solutions, Ogilvy & Mather and Mudra Communications.

Rajiv Bakshi
President, TACO Interiors and Plastics

Education: BE (mechanical) from Ranchi University and MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Gajendra Pal Singh Chandel
President, Human Resources

Education: MA (Public Administration), PGDBA and a diploma in labour law

Gajendra Chandel joined TACO in 2005. He has 21 years of experience in human resources. He has worked in the manufacturing and services industries and managed assignments in the strategic and operational areas. He also has sales and marketing experience in the passenger vehicles segment. Prior to joining TACO, Mr. Chandel worked with Siemens in India, Germany and the USA.

Hari Nayyar
Vice-President, Information Technology

Education: BTech from REC, Kurukshetra, MTech from IIT, Bombay and MBA from JBIMS, Mumbai

Hari Nayyar joined TACO in June 2005. He has 20 years of experience in the information technology sector. Before joining TACO, Mr. Nayyar worked with the K K Birla group as their IT solutions head in the USA. He has also worked with ICICI Infotech in the US.

Ashim Gangopadhyay

Ashim Gangopadhyay joined TACO in August 2006. He has more than 22 years of work experience. Before joining TACO, Mr. Gangopadhyay worked with Ispat Industries Ltd, Tinplate Co. India Ltd, Lovelock & Lewis.

Rino Raj

Rino Raj joined TACO in 1997. He has ten years of experience in planning, electronics and technology functions. Before joining TACO, Mr. Raj worked with Tata Administrative Service on assignments with several Tata Group companies.

Shirish Godbole

Shirish Godbole joined TACO in Oct 2005. He has 26 years of experience in production, manufacturing engineering, project management, ERP and IT. Before joining TACO, Mr. Godbole worked with Cummins India Ltd, Pune as Senior General Manager (ERP & IT).

Vikrant Deshmukh

Vikrant Deshmukh joined TACO in 1997. He has 22 years of experience. Before joining TACO, Mr. Deshmukh worked with Divagi Metalwares, Nichrome Metalworks, Bajaj Auto, Thermax and Patheja Brothers.

Sudhir Gupta

Sudhir Gupta joined TACO in October 2006. He has more than 22 years of work experience. Before joining TACO, Mr. Gupta worked with General Motors India (Director and headed the Direct Purchase Function) and Maruti Udyog Ltd

V. B. Paranjpe joined TACO in 2004. He has 33 years of experience in manufacturing and total quality management. Before joining TACO, Mr. Paranjpe worked with chemical and pharma companies like Nicholas Piramal, Ion Exchange and Alkyl Amines.

Rajendra Singhvi

Rajendra Singhvi joined TACO in March 2007. He has 24 years of rich and extensive experience in accounts, strategic financial management,
corporate planning (mergers and de-mergers / IPO management), business restructuring, treasury functions and MIS. Prior to joining TACO, he worked with Dish TV India Ltd. as Chief Financial Officer.

Ajay Nagle
