Tata AutoComp Mobility Telematics Limited (TMT), with over 200 customers and an installed base of 6,000 units has its corporate office in Pune. trako combines Global Positioning System (GPS) technology with GSM communication networks enabling customers to track their fleet and their consignment by relaying information about their location, speed and time. Features include a friendly web interface that allows customers to view the vehicle status on digitised maps and generate reports on trip summary, trip replay, stoppages, over-speeding, SOS etc. These reports can be accessed by the customers at their convenience in their offices or home through the internet on their desktop computer.

Customers can also choose to receive real-time information about their fleet (location, speed and time) as an SMS on their mobile phones on-demand.

Customers have the flexibility to buy trako on a lease purchase (EMI), or on a one-time payment basis
