Tata Ficosa's two plants at Pune, India, including a 100-percent
export-oriented unit, use industry-leading technology to achieve
the stringent quality standards required by its customers.
Tata Ficosa started the centre of excellence,
where inner rear view mirrors are produced, currently to cater to
various model of Ford plants spread across Europe.
Multi-stage fully automatic assembly and stage-wise
testing lines like the Poka yoke system have been successfully installed
and commissioned for all the products being manufactured in the
company
Tata Ficosa is also in the process of setting
up three more facilities. Another centre of excellence for exterior
mirrors with mirror manufacturing facilities and an automotive paint
shop in Pune, and two plants in Pant Nagar and Singur district to
cater to the needs of automotive customers in these regions.
