TMT launches consignment tracking solutions

Taco MobiApps Telematics (TMT) has launched a tool to track consignments for the logistics industry. The consignment tracking solutions will provide real time visibility to the entire value chain by integrating their ERP/back end with the information available on the Tracko (fleet management and vehicle tracking system) server.

TMT uses GSM, GPRS CDMA and other terrestrial networks to maintain the necessary hardware, software and web/mobile phone services. The consignment tracking solution will also record information such as unscheduled stops off route movement and over speeding. The hardware for the solution is priced between Rs 6,000 and Rs 14,000.
