Tata
AutoComp manufactures the entire range of automotive and inverter
batteries in joint venture with GS Yuasa of Japan. These batteries
are marketed under the brand name Tata Green Batteries.
Tata Green Batteries uses the state-of-the-art
manufacturing process based on calcium-calcium (C-C) technology.
Tata Green Batteries offer the entire range of automotive batteries
(2 wheelers, passenger cars, utility vehicles, commercial vehicles
and farm vehicles), and inverter batteries. Tata Green Batteries
are available through a nationwide sales and service network.

The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility
in Ranjangaon MIDC near Pune has a capacity of 0.5 million batteries
per year; plans are in place to ramp it up to 2 million units. The
